Cape Town. CGR 'Governor's Coach' built at Salt River, later modified with clerestory roof and numbered Pvt No 3 on SAR, later renumbered No 64 in 1925.
Circa 1906. CSAR Type J2 No 20800-20807 first class coach for Limited Express (Chocolate & Cream). Later converted to SAR suburban coach Type O-10.
SAR 2nd class passenger coach No 8655, the first mainline passenger carriage to be manufactured in South Africa.

Kalkfontein, South-West Africa, 1915. Major NK Prettejohn, Resident Engineer at coach. The coach was one of a pair of NZASM 1st 'Twin' type B's later converted by the SAR for Officers' use for the Regrading Engineer and numbered A21727.
