Cape Town. Funeral train which serviced the four Woltemade sidings for the new Maitland Cemetry c1908 shown returning late afternoon between Salt River and Woodstock behind a CGR Class 03 'Wynberg tender' locomotive. The Funeral coach attached behind the engine had a single compartment for undertakers and seven smaller compartments for coffins. The train departed from Platform 1 also known as the Funeral Bay.
