President Paul Kruger's private coaches donated by Queen Wilhelmina of Holland, 1897. Soon after delivery to the NZASM they were mounted on a one piece bogie underframe and bodies permanently attached. After 1910 it was classified as SAR private coach No 17, now preserved at Kruger House, Pretoria.

PPR first class corridor coach later CSAR Type E with 'Pretoria' destination board standing next to typical short NZASM coach. Several of both survived after 1910.
