NZASM 46 Tonner No 230 'Jan Wintervogel' sold out of service by the CSAR before 1910 becoming ESCOM 'ZASM 5'. Returned to Transnet 1992, restored and used on Steam Specials out of Witbank and Waterval-Boven.

Waterval-Boven, 16 August 1971. NZASM 46 tonner No 61 'Roos'. Sold out of service by the SAR in 1919 to Simmer Deep Mine, later became ESCOM 'ZASM 4'. In 1971 SAPPI exchanged it for a SAR Class 10 No 772. It was restored at Germiston shed and was used for several Specials and film shoots before been placed on permanent display at the Outeniqua Railway Museum in 1998. Here she is shown at the handover ceremony with SAR Class 10C No 772.
